The view from my room was stunning, the fire pit by the river was perfect for evenings, and I loved the nature-inspired decor throughout! I appreciated the comfy common areas to unwind and relax after hiking.
Felt a home here, no reason to complain.

The breakfasts had freshly prepared eggs that were out of this world! Plus, the location couldn't be beat for park access and exploring historic Madison!
For the price, I expected a more cozy room. The heat just wouldn't chill out, making it uncomfortable, and the shower controls were a bit of a puzzle. Our dining experience also missed the mark with slow service.

Nice location for hiking and close to the river view. The room was not cleaned well, with crumbs on the floor. Enjoyed the game room and the outdoor sitting area around the fire pit. Had issues with the worn-out furniture. Room lighting was inadequate.

missingWrote a review on Nov 06cozy decorspacious balconiesfluctuating lighting
The quad rooms come with spacious balconies, offering nice views. Cozy decor throughout adds a charming touch, making the atmosphere feel welcoming.
Lighting in the bathroom fluctuated, which became annoying at times. There were just enough outlets for daily use, but several were adapted, limiting unencumbered access. Some areas of the property showed signs of wear, particularly the indoor pool that had visible mold, and the playgrounds looked neglected. The restaurant's seating limitations detracted from the dining experience.

Great Family Getaway with Nature Views
We enjoyed our stay with ample room for our family and a lovely river view from our patio. The on-site restaurant offered delicious home-style meals, making dining a breeze. The fire pit area was perfect for evening relaxation. Pro tip, try to reserve a room with a patio for the best views!

I really enjoyed the beautiful views of Madison and the Ohio River from my room. The terrace was a great spot to relax with a table and chairs outside. The large bathroom added a nice touch too, providing plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the stay more pleasant. However, I encountered some issues. The restaurant prices felt a bit high, as breakfast for two came to $40, which seemed excessive. I also found the bathroom not as clean as I expected. there was hair in the bathtub upon arrival. The service in the restaurant was quite slow, both when getting seated and after finishing our meal. One of the locks in the room was missing, which was concerning. Overall, the stay had its highlights, but there were areas needing attention for a better experience.
